Deep within the Team-O lair, Team-O illuminati and senior Knights have been studying a curious set of sketches which were recently found by Rasputin in a small, run-down shop on Arbat Street during a recent trip to Moscow. From what we have been able to determine to date, the sketches appear to contain two things: First, what may have originally been highly-detailed drawings of nimble maneuvers most likely linked to the Antarctic Chess League. In these sketches we can see a semblance of a Bishop and a Pawn Chess piece — as well as a type of dwelling which may in fact be an igloo. The next step is to investigate any possible link to Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Imperial Trans Antarctic Expedition (cca. 1914). We’ll probably have to get some help from Wandering Wonderer on that one.
The second set of sketches contains a series of what appear to be a type of map. There seem to be three main areas of demarcation — with one falling in the area of Kamchatka, the other along the West Siberian Plain and the last appears just at the edge of the Himalayas.
With any luck these recent findings may provide further valuable insight into the origins of Team-O and its historical development. Some have even gone so far as to propose that there is a link with extraterrestrial beings.
We ask that you try to curb your excitement for a short while as we work diligently to get to more clarity. Certainly our high-level government contacts and celebrity members are of great help on this. Rest assured that further findings will be published here on this blog. We also encourage you to let us know if you happen to find artifacts or relics which you believe could possibly be linked to Team-O.
